Personally, at home I'd like to see a diamond with Can/Lucas behind Milner and Henderson, and with Coutinho behind 2 up front against all but the best sides.

    ---------Lucas----------
    --Milner-------Henderson
    ---------Coutinho---------
    -----Firmino--------------
    -------------Benteke-----

IMO that is our best line up from the midfield to the forwards. Can could be rotated in there easily enough too.

      But when Sturridge is back?
      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Would rotate him with Firmino, maybe pay two up top but as it stands Sturridge is not reliable enough to be considered a starter at the moment. IMO if he stays fit, he won't be properly match fit/sharp for another few months. Great player but a crock and can't see the club rushing him back.

Nice problem to have if he comes back fit and strong. Suppose it all depends on how well Firmino and Benteke do.

He's only played about 2 hours of football for us
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Bit soon to write him off. I think we'll see him blossom under another manager though - I'm really not sure Brendan has the right position for him with his formations

Not writing him off but was expecting more from him.
He's on the fringes of the game, making stupid mistakes and giving the ball away.
TBH i was hoping he'd be quicker and a bit more dynamic.
Hate saying it but at this point Sterling is a better player or maybe i should reword that and say Sterling was far better suited to the Rodgers system.
