Pedro would have been the better buy for the Rodgers Lifeless 433 formation. Every season we have to endure his insipid, turgid crap before he realises how bad it is and wings some formation, then hails himself a great mind of the modern game

    Charlatan cretin.

We didn't have Perdro's phone number, and I doubt Joe Allen texting him would have as much pull as was needed.

Based on little evidence, he looks a bit of a confidence player to me. Getting that or adapting to the PL can't be easy in the disjointed team we have at the minute.

I agree, but he also definitely isn't a winger where he's being asked to play. Furthermore, he's not a wing back which is where he effectively played against United.

I wanted Milner to grab him by the scruff of the neck and scream at him to close down on that right wing, but he's not a defender and so it's ridiculous to expect him to do that all game.

Likewise when Carrick dinked a ball over the top of Ings for Darmian to run onto. Ings isn't a wing back. How can I moan that a player isn't defending when they've been attacking players all their lives?

We signed a Brazilan flair player and ask him to defend for ninety minutes.

Next season's loaner car perhaps ?

If Brendan's still about anyway. Incredible as that may sound.

Looks like he could be out for a while. That's what you get for playing your £30m signing in the ****ing League Cup against Carlisle FFS.

I know he's not pulled up any trees yet but he's not gonna get any better on ****ing crutches.

He cameon and looked decent against Norwich though. Just another nail in the Rodgers coffin, and a major setback in his acclimitisation

even more bizarre was that he was about to make the change, we scored. Origi sat back down, we then concede and he's straight off.

Is he any good? Should we expect better from him at any point? I'm not sure what he is or why we bought him?

But as he's not been playing at the level expected of him surely these are the matches he would start to boost his confidence?

People are entitled to that view but I expressed these concerns before that game...no way would I have picked such a strong team in a **** cup against complete **** opposition. This is the price you pay.

That's the problem isn't it, we still have no idea where he will play, and I'm not sure Rodgers does either.
