There's is a real talent in Firmino, but he needs the right service and right players to flourish.

He should be one of a midfield 3 with 2 or 3 attacking players in front of him

He was brilliant against Arsenal in that position when we smashed them.

Left side of a diamond. Played it against Arsenal (5-1) and he was immense but has never really played it again. People doubt his battling qualities but they need only look at that game. Move him forward and he's too close to most of the attacking movement to deliver those quality through balls plus he thinks he needs to belt everything he gets in and around the box. Move him back and he has loads of movement ahead of him to pick out and he's also a goal threat coming from deep.

Firmino is better as a No.10 for me than Coutinho, and the latter is better in a central midfield 3 (either in a 4-3-3, or a 4-4-2 diamond, where there are 3 in the centre, and a 4th midfielder playing more advanced).

Not sure how things will work with both in the side long term, because Klopp likes a 4-2-3-1, and Firmino can play in the 3, and as the 1, whereas Coutinho's best position, or role, isn't in that system.

As for Bobby, was always only a matter of time. God help Teixeira if he arrives and isn't a world beater from the off, loads of meffs will be on his case early.

Since we can't count on Sturridge too much, mine would be:

                  ------Hendo-----Can
                  ------------Couts
                  ----Teix----------Lallana
                  ------------Bobby

Coutinho prompting from a deeper position.
I wear my heart on my profile name.

That's good work there. Came close to a hattrick in two games too.

I see the perspective but I would say he should be a part of a top 3 in a 4-3-3 or in a 3 behind the main striker of a 4-3-1. Klopp dosent play a diamond and I think we need two solid center mids. The main thing Rafa got right was targeting quality central midfielders early on, we don't have any right now.

Most thought it was ludicrous back then too, Just goes to show how quick people can say silly things if a lad isn't Messi from his first game. Sorry Spud!

I can guarantee Teixeira will get the same if he takes his time too.
