Did I, that must have been an aberration? I looked back through my posts with 'Firmino' in and it seems to be mostly me complaining about him missing sitters and generally grumbling, so just nornmal stuff really.

Either way, Barca coming in for him is not a major concern.

Sorry I meant if he was a 20 goal scorer we might be worried but I don't see that changing any time soon.

Chap really needs to up his game. Not changing my opinion that he is not a striker and need to be dropped deeper. So far this pre season and first 3 games he has been awful.

Dans not changing his opinion despite the stats proving he's wrong. I agree this wasn't a great match for him but he always contributes something positive even when he is 'off colour'

Playing from the left doesn't really suit him but his movement still allows others into the game.

It's worth noting that with Firmino up front we put 3 in against a solid Watford team that won't concede many under Silva and 2 against a good Hoffenheim team that were unbeaten at home in 16 months.

Without him there we struggled to score against a poor Palace team at home, who conceded 3 to Huddersfield. Obviously there were other factors that influenced yesterday's performance, but I still can't understand why Firmino is getting so much stick after those first two games.
