Saint Harry is absolutely loved by the English media...I can't imagine why they eulogize about him more than other strikers... I couldn't help but have a bit of schadenfreude when Spurs went 2-0 down against Juve. But because he is a Saint he dragged them back into the game. Jamie Redknapp's interview of Kane after the 2-2 draw at Anfield was one of the most sycophantic, nausea-inducing bits of TV I've seen in a while...

Firmino's relatively modest profile may be partly a consequence of his slow start to life in England. Judgments on new signings - especially foreign ones - tend to be hastily made, and initially Firmino looked to be heading the way of so many of Liverpool's buys during the dog days of the Brendan Rodgers era.
Rodgers was unsure of how best to deploy his £29m signing, marooning Firmino on the right wing for a 3-1 defeat at Manchester United in a horribly anonymous display.
Speaking ahead of Celtic's Europa League tie this week, Rodgers, however, claimed Firmino's rise was inevitable.
"I signed the boy. We knew we were taking a quality player - that's why I signed him. We played him slightly to the side, just to the right there, in his early days because I felt it would be better for his development, away from the hullabaloo through the middle. It is that spell out wide, where he worked very diligently for me, that has shaped the boy and helped him become the player you see today. Unfortunately I wasn't able to carry on with my work and my development of the player, but it's good to see it turning out how I planned it."Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
