Thanjk you.

I think the lack of goals is starting to affect him at times. Absolutely love him as a player but he won't get away with being virtually a non-scoring forward forever. You can see it's weighing on him.
nah - do not agree. You watch the team with him in the team and without him in the team. Firmino allows the whole attack - not just Mane and Salah - to function. Our full backs, our midfield and our two wide strikers - they all get more joy out when Firmino is playing.
Swap Origi in for the rest of the season and watch the drop off.

I know, it's galling...a serious injury in Firmino has the potential to derail the whole team which should have Klopp & co thinking of a plan B but do we have the team for a plan B as the current set-up is geared too much for plan A.
Teams will work us out soon enough as already seen examples of other teams line up with a low block to deny us the space to run into.
This is where the likes of players of Coutinho's ability comes into the factor with their ability to shoot outside the box...we seem to be unable to do so lately...it's infuriating watching us to the same thing against teams with low blocks in the hope it comes off...definition of madness is doing the same thing over & over hoping for a different result!
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Well, that's precisely the issue we have, the team without him includes a subpar player so its not exactly fair to judge what it would look like with a Werner, or another top striker in.
There is no doubt how important he is. But he does need to start finding the net again. We have lost a dimension without him providing a goal threat... although the whole team has dipped. Hopefully he will find his mojo next season.
Its a worry not really having a replacement for him. Not seen much from Minamino so far. Origi does not really suit our system, so I would sell him to fund a replacement. Not an easy thing to find though.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.
His chance conversion has dropped off this season but I think it’s just a dip.
He’s also been robbed of 2 goals which should not have been disallowed, away to Villa and home to Man Utd. That would put him on 13 in all this season. If he was finishing on around 16, we’d probably not be talking about it, so small margins.
I’m confident he’ll be back to his usual numbers next season.
We won the League by record margins with our centre forward not scoring at home and ‘only’ getting 8 goals. The not scoring at home thing is an anomaly.
Imagine Bobby starts banging in 15 plus.
He’s vital to Mane and Salah’s goals.
And look at a player like Son, similar but less effective. He’s only scored 10 this season.

Not too sure about that. It must annoy him a little but you would not see that at all in the way he plays. His all round game is exceptional, arguably the best player in the world in his position.

it has definitely affected him. He needs a goal desperately just break this trend.
Nobody under estimates what he brings to our side but a CF needs to score goals and his performances especially in 2020 has dropped off massively. Quality player that has been well below his best this year. Just needs a goal, I hope he gets it before the seasons ends.
Yes, for himself he could do with a goal or two but it's a bit of a cliche that a "centre forward needs to score goals" we've absolutely romped the league and he's been a massive part of it with his movement and interplay.

Yeah I get it, we've walked the league. His relative lack of goals hasn't hampered that. He's a brilliant, crucial team-player.
I still maintain it's starting to affect him though. You can see the frustration is building. You can see it in some of his mannerisms and body language. The rueful smile when he scuffed it against the post for example. It's bothering him.
He has a good record against Arsenal, so hoping he gets back on track tonight. It might be a cliche but a goalscorer who never scores is just not going to be a 100% happy player out on the pitch. He needs the odd goal. Once he gets that back he'll be absolutely fine.

He obviously wants a goal at Anfield now that it’s being talked about and I’m sure one will come. He’s scored 8 this season including goals such as that vital winner at Wolves. He’s contributed.
