        Agree completely.

I think he would be a good guy to bring off the bench too...... He has a lot to offer that nobody else in their squad does

Undeniably good for us, but feel bad for him. I thought he was garbage at Spurs but he's been mainly excellent this season. He strikes me as a natural and ideal back-up for Neymar.

Ah, wouldn't be surprised as he must bring value to the team off the pitch as well as on so can imagine him getting a 2 year extension then reviewed on a yearly basis after that like Milner.

If he doesn't get paid too much weekly and we don't have a fee to pay up front for a replacement it makes sense. There is still room for Bobby in our squad. He still does stuff the others ca t and he is the perfect role model for the young wannabees like Carvalho and Elliot

He has been ****e the past two seasons, but has returned to decent form recently.

An on form Bobby makes a real difference. I still see Elliott as a long term replacement.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

i'm suprised its not a 1 year deal with another added on based on minutes/goals

Apparently he's signed a pre agreement with them, not sure how true that is
                          Cheers

...could be a condition of the Gakpo deal being brought forward... or an imminent midfielder? Can't keep all six forwards and might need to make some salary savings. Would prefer to bring in a midfielder now and let Phillips, Ox and/or Naby go now... although based on last night, Naby might be useful if he can stay fit. Ox won't.

Why the **** are we retaining Bobby.

He's been on the decline for ages now, admittedly had a decent start to this season but injured again. This is exactly the sort of deal we keep committing to. Nice fella , great memories but in sporting terms, he needs to be ****ed off. Use the wages for someone of more use to us.
