He always had players swarming around him and a constant flow of crosses and set pieces coming into him. Two wide players either side of him at Villa & midfielders willing to get forward. Villa played as a pure counter attacking team, no matter how **** they were that was their style. At LFC he literally is just left alone up there, so we see him lumbering around like a lost soul

We as a team cannot cross the ball, set pieces are embarrassing, our movement is non existent, our midfielders have zero interest in pushing up to forward positions & we have no style of play or identity. There is no balance in the side at all. Far from just Benteke.

I've said he's been ****e Lec, I am 100% not making excuses for him.. I think i've made that abundantly clear. What I saying is that there are huge problems around him that are quite obviously contributing to the ****fest. Can't just blame the bigman... unfair IMO.

We buy a guy that thrives on set pieces and crosses into a team that couldn't cross their legs. Benteke had mobile wide men at Villa in which in thrived. That's not me making excuses for him, he's been ****e but he doesn't suit what Klopp wants to do at LFC but he's not the only one.

IMO we will only find an identity when we get rid of 6 or 7 players and get players in that are actually talented and have a bit of passion and balls about them. Sick of watching these useless turds swanning around the pitch.

I will say again, we have crossed the ball in games and he either isnt in the box / isnt on the end of them

Our set piece delivery is poor but again he seems to be static waiting for the ball to come and hit him on the head like an Exocet missile

As mentioned in the match thread. At one point he won a header on the halfway line and Lallana latched onto it and we broke. In seeing this Tekkers just jogged (at best) forward staying well behind the play, and by the time we were in a position to cross he was approaching the D. This is no one else's fault but his. His lack of desire is utterly inexcusable as it is the absolute least we should expect from him. Effort. He is a ridiculously poor signing for a number of reasons, but he is a lazy ******* too, and that's on him.

The thing is, he chased back at one point and he moved faster than I've ever seen him move in the other direction. Hes hiding out there, marking defenders and not doing his job.

I don't disagree, he's fairly rubbish, but so are the players around him.
