I can't see how Ings or Origi are ever gonna get any substantial game time, apart from the League Cup and maybe Europa. Especially when Sturridge gets on. Our best bench options are invariably attacking mids / wingers.....Benteke should be on the pitch most or all of the time, likewise Sturridge when fit. Ingsy and Origi can't even get on with Sturridge not in the picture.

And Rodgers doesn't really rotate, I don't think he knows how to manage a big squad like we have now.

It's mad but the squad is too big and as you say with not much rotating there's gonna be some unhappy players. It's a difficult balance to strike though tbf.

Origi especially is one I think is going to struggle for game time however it's nice to see we've got 4 strikers at the club that we've got some faith in to do a job if Benteke breaks down or Sturridge continues his injury woes.

Hopefully they're going to be happy enough this season for bit part positions in the squad as no doubt as soon as let one go on loan they're going to be needed.

Totally different attitudes though Plod, with Benteke's attitude to his career even Doofus would be a much better player than he has been.

Benteke will score goals, so long as we as a club don't let him down in the players we buy and team we build. imo.

I see Wenger is basically dismissing Benteke as a threat for tonight: 'managed to deal with him' before as they kept him quiet in the Cup Final etc...
