One of the most frustrating footballers ever.

But he scores goals. He's loads like Heskey.

He's alright as long as he doesn't have to think about it.

It's about confidence and that split second he takes to make his mind up. Anything else he's good. Good touch and awareness but needs to be quicker and more decisive with his actions. Great potential.

To his credit he tried much harder in the second half it seemed.

I think he's a very good back-up to have, but we need a more mobile kind of in behind striker up front to get the most out of our style of play.

Don't want to bore everyone but he gets goals, ****ing atrocious at the end again but I'm putting that down to a lack of confidence.

I thought he was strong up front on his own tonight, brought others into play with some good touches but his passing was a bit off but better from him overall. Movement was hugely improved especially in the second half.

I think we will see huge improvements from him between now and the end of the season. Could see at the end that his teammates like him but also that his confidence is low as everyone was going up to him.

Seems like a nice guy, perhaps too nice and if he was more of a cunt like Suarez then he'd be lethal, all down to confidence and self belief with Benteke, the lad has potential to be an animal.

Before the goal was ****, scored goal, ran about much more then was **** again. Basically.

The more I see him the more I'm certain he'll be gone in the summer.

His touch is indifferent, a few tonight where it was really heavy and he lost the ball, a few where it improved and was ok. At times he looks like he doesn't know where to go and what to do. Others when he has a poachers instinct.

I agree on confidence, if he can find some his entire game can improve.

                  He's Heskey2.0

Reminds me of Andy Cole, instinctive but useless when has time to think. Over the years there's been plenty of strikers that are similar.

He scores goals but doesn't do enough and isn't deadly enough to give him a free pass when his umpteen passes go astray. Klopp will sell him guaranteed. And he'll continue to score wherever he goes, we are used to better. Much better.

He's a match winner, the lad has picked up a handful of crucial goals this season.

Without him we'd be in a right mess.

Basically make your mind up early and do it. You can see the confidence draining away the closer he got to goal.

He has many faults but he's just bagged us 6 points. Can't argue. Not his biggest fan but if he keeps doing **** all in general then scoring winners and missing sitters after it I won't complain.
