I'll judge him at the end of the season. It's easy to write him off completely but with his goal record I'm willing to give him a season at least.

I can completely understand that he might not be the best suit long-term if we want a completely mobile forward line - although i'm not sure Jurgen will want us to play like that all the time.

Tried a bit harder, ran around a bit more... Played a nice pass...But not the effort or quality required, needs to keep improving if he wants to get a start. Never seems to break sweat or lose his rag or look pissed off.

Would be nice if he could sink West Ham and score a goal our 2.
He was poor again for me, hiding in plain sight. He's a striker and makes little to no effort to get in and around the box which is what his primary function should be.

A few times there were some decent balls stuck into the box and he made no effort whatsoever to get anywhere near them. Frustrating to say the least as he is better than he's showing

We need at least one world class striker at the club next season. Ings and Origi will complete the squad.
You lost me at the selling Sturridge part.

I know this is controversial but he's still our most dangerous player in the final third. He's the only one that can get a dangerous shot off consistently.

It's more an incrimination at how bad the rest of the team are at finishing.

I had to genuinely double check what thread I was in reading this

More dangerous than Firmino? I haven't seen the big guy get any shots of at all in his last few appearances, and then when he did get great chances against Exeter, he didn't take them.

The Heskey comparison is beginning to look harsh on Emile.

Funnily enough one of my mates made the same comment last night

He wasn't exactly ****e IMO, his link up play and holding up the ball was quite good but he still seems reluctant to get into the box & to get shots away.

At the end of the season he will be judged on how many goals he scores, like every striker. Between now and then he has a lot of work to do to improve his figures & to endear himself to the fans. At the moment it does seem like he's an expensive mistake, we'll just have to hope that he can start scoring a few goals to help us get to where we want to he.

It is what it is at the moment unfortunately. His positional sense in the box, anticipation or lack of & the movements he makes are just plain weird. But the lack of shooting and hesitancy in his game is IMO without a doubt a confidence issue, he looks shot to ****. I know you disagree but he is better than this.

Sorry lads, obviously this isn't a fan club in here but we've got to play with a striker, even if it's Benteke.

Firmino, Lallana, Milner, Can, Ibe and Henderson must be the most gentle attacking force ever.

We've got away with some results recently but let's be honest, we lost against a poor Man U side and beat a very poor Norwich.

I'd love us to play two up top with the diamond.
