I have a theory and its not going to be popular - when Benteke is sold as he surely will be Klopp is unlikely to buy another expensive/proven striker. These ongoing links to Gotze suggest to me that he wants an expansive quick thinking supporting cast for a single forward whoever that may be. Its also no doubt why the manager has refused to start two up despite having three centre forwards available for the last 3 weeks.
