He just needs to do well when called upon, like today. He'll definitely be gone in the summer, as he's lacking the game intelligence needed, but he showed great composure, and good on him. As Carragher said, he hasn't complained to the press (unless I've forgotten), but knuckled down and got on with things.

Totally agree. He actually looked like he was part of the team and was making some clever runs, giving the midfield players movement that they need. Still time for him to turn this round.

No. No he doesn't. Pleased for him- seems like a nice bloke- but 1 penalty & a bit of running (not always in the right place) does in no way, shape or form justify his place in the squad.
