Thanjk you.

Thats if he requests. Sounds like hes a bit pissed off with Klopp though.
True Balotelli was in the same position.
Just goes to show the ridiculous sums we were paying to & for mediocrity. Things have not changed in that respect... I think we all winced at the pricetags for the likes of Carroll, Balotelli and Benteke.
Although I cant fault this years purchases. Seems like every player is at least very decent on paper.
The point is this... he is on 6.25 million a year... if he is entitled to a full payoff... that mwans paying him 26 million to leave. Are we even going to make this back through a fee? He also cost 30 million. We have written back 1 year of 5, leaving 24 million as his value. So we could make an in year loss of 30 odd million even if we do recoup his 24 million book value. Loaning him out could net us a loan fee and pay his wages so we could almost breakeven in year. With FFP this stuff does matter
I am not so sure when we hear quoted figures of salary (£6.25 in this case) that that is what they always get paid. My brother in law never played at EPL level but he played in the Championship and still plays in the SPL and even in his early career, I would say half of his earnings were based on if he got on the pitch (playing bonus) and if the team drew, won or lost etc. OK, he is not at Bentekes’ level and can’t (couldn’t) demand that level of remuneration but he has played in the same team as Jordan Henderson and I am sure to some degree, playing bonus and win bonus make up a reasonable chunk of earnings.
Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but does not actually get you anywhere.
David Moyes is poised to take on his old club Everton for £30million Liverpool striker Christian Benteke .
The Sunderland boss has made a powerful striker a no.1 priority and has the out-of-favour Anfield striker in his sights.
But Everton also have an audacious move across Merseyside for the Belgian lined up in the event that Chelsea meet their monster £75million valuation for striker Romelu Lukaku .
Crystal Palace moved for Benteke last month but while the south Londoners were ready to meet his £120,000-a-week wages it is understood they failed to match Liverpool’s £30million asking price.
Liverpool are adamant that Benteke will stay unless that valuation is met, despite the fact he is down the pecking order at Anfield.
Moyes is focused on bringing in some much-needed firepower to the Stadium of Light after the Black Cats relied heavily on Jermain Defoe’s goals to keep them up last season. Moyes admitted: “There’s no doubt we have to make signings and I believe we definitely will do.
“We were never off the phone last week. It was constant apart from the training to see what we could do. It was more to get the information before we made any actions.
“I think it’s well documented that we’ve only got one centre-forward really in Jermain Defoe – we’ve got others who can do the job at other times. But I would like to strengthen in most areas if it comes up.” Everton are currently waiting to see whether Chelsea agree to their demands for Lukaku before moving for Benteke.
We revealed last Saturday that Goodison chiefs have already rejected a staggering £57million offer from the Londoners who are ready to go in again at £68million with Loic Remy part of the deal.
Not sure there is much of bidding war in truth and clearly selling him to Sunderland is the most attractive option...although given his finishing maybe Everton wouldn't be so bad
There were plenty of s******* on here when they paid £27m (or whatever it was) for Lukaku at the time.
Edit: Ha ha, should say snigers with 2 g's.
They hate us with a passion. They bang on about getting big names, thinking Moshiri is a bottomless pit, and instead, they could spunk a big load on our 5th choice striker (behind Sturridge, Origi, Ings, and Firmino).
I had the same problem with typing snigers on here too.
I have to say that wouldn't bother me (might if it'd be coming out of my pocket) but he could easily (IMO) do a Lukaku at the like of Sunderland or probably better Everton and perform above his 30m rough valuation. 2nd year in a five year deal - yeah wouldn't be the worst idea and it'll be amusing seeing the melt down on here.

Suppose you are right, they probably would give off, but when he's banging the goals in for them, they'd soon shut up.
Hope he doesn't go there actually.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

In that scenario Sunderland would be where to send him.
He performs well at Everton and that potentially could fire them into being able to compete for a top 6 or top 7 slot. As such he could have an impact on our own season.
He performs at Sunderland and he is the difference between staying up and going down. But does not pose a threat to our league position and maybe does a Borini and hurts a few of our rivals whilst on loan.
Prefer to just sell him though.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
