Thanjk you.

So...Can get a couple more world class players in surely?
A left back and another forward to replace Benteke, possibly another CM.
Nice.
You'd have thought so, a left back is a must as is an out and out striker.
Would like to see us make a move for Mario Gomez personally.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
We are potentially going to have 3 strikers sitting on the bench on Sunday, fighting for one place. I can't see why we'd be looking to add another unless an offer to good to refuse presents itself.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
Do we really need to replace a 5th choice striker when we usually only play one upfront?
He's so far down the pecking order, he hasn't even featured much in pre season.
Sturridge, Origi, Firmino and Ings gives us plenty of depth and quality for that spot.
I feel like there's room for a really good one in the side if theres one that's attainable, one that can replace or play alongside Sturridge when he inevitably crumbles.
I really like Origi, and think he could be brilliant, but Firmino and Ings whilst functional and will help the team wouldn't provide the sort of cover another "World Class" striker could. Although there does seem to be a lack of them around at the moment.
I'm all for us being quite wise in the transfer market, but in all honesty I don't think we've hugely improved our first team, just the squad. We've added some things that we have been missing (Pace with Mane, a big, powerful CB in Matip) but the first team itself is of a pretty similar standard.
We have a world class manager and pockets of real talent in the team, I just think we are a couple of really good players away from being real challengers.

Agree with what you're saying about the squad/team.
But I think there are other positions in the team that are still in far greater need of improvement and depth than up front.
Both full back positions, a controlling or defensive midfielder and possibly centre back, even though we've brought in 2 this window.
I think top quality additions in these positions would improve us much more than even a world class striker.

On paper maybe not, but on the pitch we should see a massive improvement. Sturridge barely played last year, so every (any???) extra game he plays will be an improvement. Origi didn't find form until the Southampton game in December, got injured in January, then teh same problem in April, so we haven't seen the best of him on a consistent basis, which hopefully we will next year. Ings hasn't played competitively under Klopp at all, so he's another extra body we didn't have. Even when we play Firmino up there, with Mane playing behind we still have added an extra dimension from last year. I think we are much, much stronger in that department this year and like Pepe says, it's teh least of our concerns.
If we had European football I could maybe see a case for strengthening to cover for inevitable injuries, but unless we got rid of someone else I can't see there being room for another.

Can't say I agree. I think Matip and Klavan are huge upgrades on Kolo and Skrtel. Wijnaldum is a handy squad player whereas I think Mane really has something about him - I think he'll be a starter when he's fit. Karius is clearly going to replace Mignolet when he's fit. And as discussed above, Origi and Ings are almost brand new.
...and we did that for 20p!

Reason: idiocy

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
