I posted in the post match thread but another summer of high player turnover would not be ideal. We need to focus our money on a few top quality additions, not spread it too thin for the third summer in a row. Plenty deserve to leave but it'll need to be done in stages.

Why the **** didn't he insist we bought players in January? If he hasn't got much sway now when will he? Doesn't bode well that either he's happy to wait or the owners aren't prepared to splash the cash.
What about a couple of loans?
I would sell the whole ****ing lot and start from complete scratch. Whole new team.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

Because he wouldn't be able to coach them into any cohesive team setup. We're basically playing on our toes every game.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostWhy the **** didn't he insist we bought players in January? If he hasn't got much sway now when will he? Might as well do what he can with the current squad, take note of who is worth his time and bin off the rest.
He'll know who will excel with better players and who won't. For instance, I think Coutinho shines with Ings and Sturridge up front. Henderson does too.Was muß, das muß.

He knows exactly what the problems are - there's no hiding it or bs from him
He won't be afraid to swing the axe this summer & there will be wholesale changes - he's given this lot enough time to show something & they're proving to be wholly inadequate
We'll have to take a few hits on players going out but FSG will be well aware of that
We just have to be patient - there's a lot to come from this fella yetWhat do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

As the old saying goes, your best players should be keeping your not so good ones on the bench. If that's not happening then questions have to be asked.
Klopp can clearly see who the ones on form are at the moment but they're all sitting on the bench. I still think Klopp will get it right soon but these decisions are as worrying as Benteke not making the obvious runs into the box.One tit for another.

Ive no worries with Klopp. I know he knows how to set a team out to play exciting attacking football. He also knows how to win.
Currently the players he has cannot translate his words into actions. You see glimpses all over. We were the better team last night for large swathes. But because of the lack of a clinical finisher we came unstuck. Again.
Klopp is World Class. However apart from maybe Sturridge when fit and on form he is the only one at the club at that level. He needs to bring others up to him.*Except Michael, who died.

Pairing a decent Hummels with Sakho is like pairing Fred Astaire with Cat Deeley, however Hummels hasn't been at his best either for a long time. A move might give him a new lease of life, but I think it would be quite a bit a risk.Originally posted by Alex View PostFWIW I think we will get Hummels in the summer and that will solve a lot of problems with translating his message.
Imagine a CB partnership of Hummels and Sakho

I'd actually disagree in saying we were the better team. Leicester were more than happy to allow us possession, and at times, we did get into decent positions. Once again, it's our lack of creativity and intelligence. Game intelligence cannot be solved if you don't have it at this level. From now until the end of the season, the players really need time on the training pitch to practice patterns of play, and to learn the basics again.
We pass it into feet, but not many pass it into space, thus allowing runners to move into threatening positions. We're so laboured, and because of the number of games, we can't work on this.

Teams are quite happy to let us have the ball because we just whip it around in front of their back line, and without Coutinho to shot from outside the box we struggle.SakhoPotatoes
