Don't think so, the accent is more prominent in the 'lines'. little bit like Liam Gallagher putting the emphasis in sunshiinnee.

Having said it out loud a few times to check (hopefully no-one was within earshot) a hooker forces me to pronounce the H and just feels wrong. An hooker feels right (oo'er) although it sounds like a nooker.
