Me neither. I've avoided saying anything until now, just because I couldn't be assed to have a slanging match with everyone.

I just don't see what he gives us. He's defending can be ok, but he's lost players a few times, and going forward he's pretty awful. It's just more of the same for me, Clyne = Johnson

I don't see it myself and wasn't too keen in the summer either. Fact is though it's very hard to get a full back that does everything well (for our scouts anyway!) and by and large he does his first job of defending well enough. He's a solid 6 out of 10 fullback and that will do while we sort the more pressing areas of the squad out.

In short, he's the least of our problems.

clyne isnt as bad as johnson but he's pants in the final 3rd. for a team that plays 4231 and relies so heavily on its fullbacks for width he really needs to do much better.

for the last 3 years under rodgers, we became a team who didnt cross the ball so you cant expect us to turn that around in 3 months.

Clyne is definitely more reliable than Johnson but he hasn't exactly been amazing for us unfortunately. Decent defender but in a setup which relies on our fullbacks providing the width in high wide areas... his attacking side of the game does look pretty dismal. Maybe it's a learning curve for him under Klopp who seems to want to setup this way but regardless... Clyne seriously needs to work on crossing.

Definitely not a priority for us to replace at the moment, he has done ok for us. We have much bigger problems everywhere else.

                      Vastly overrated.

Priorities first, Klopp needs some new silver glasses. Those black ones are nowhere near as 'on brand' as the silver ones...

                          patch up the hollow midfield.
who out of can, lallana, henderson, milner or anyone else really gives us the drive we need.

sort out some fast and intelligent front players.
ibe, lallana, firmino, benteke all look like they have taken various medications [uppers/downers] but they dont really have any sense of direction.

                          goalkeeper.
                          nuff said.

                          defence.
hand out some brains and organisation. have them all spend time together.
moreno is a headless chicken, lets bin him.

then when you've done all that you can come and question if we need an upgrade on clyne.

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Don't see it with Sturridge - in fact it would make little sense to me when Villa is the next game. Much more appropriate for his return.
