That's all I saw too. Ronnie Whelan saying something similar, didn't think it was a good idea and you wouldn't catch Ferguson, Guardiola etc doing it. But Whelan is a ****.

Yep Whelan is a complete tool. As if, I mean as ****ing if Jurgen is so stupid to give anything away on TV. Do Whelan et al not think other teams scrutinise us and everyone else to the nth degree with their ProZone and teams of analysts etc? It's ludicrous.
        Thanks very much for being

aye there was no real insight, more just pointing and showing what we all see, Swansea will be have a team of people who know well more than we see, not as if they will be shocked by the revelation we press and have loads of movement

I turned off after 20 minutes. As engaging as he is, there's just too much talk about men kicking a ball about these days.

Yes, I understand I say this on a football website.

Yep. Every single manager in the premiership has done their UEFA pro licenses, and every club has a team of people analysing the opposition in great detail. We're talking top level coaching here in the richest league in the world. The idea that they'll all be taping Monday Night Football to get tactical insight from Klopp is ludicrous...

I bet there would have been a few on here blowing their tops if that MNF had of been after the Burnley match.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Whelan tends to stick the knife into the foreign Liverpool managers and has being doing so pretty much since Ged was in place.

He seemed to despise Rafa, and can recall Whelan just making up transfer figures on Irish tv to suit his own arguments about Rafa's failures (failures in Whelan's eyes ).

He is an absolute waste of space as a pundit, thick as shyte, and that seems to be a trait that afflicts quite a few of our ex players.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Yep it's terrible isn't it. I don't like sticking the boot into ex-players, especially legendary ones, but once you're gone you're gone and I'd defend the club ahead of any of them. People like Whelan, Houghton, McMahon, Lawrenson - thick as two short planks, bitter as **** and probably don't like foreigners very much.

**** off you grumpy old men!

Why does there have to be an 'upside' ffs! why can't it just be because he was asked by Carra and wanted to do it, miserable ****s moaning about something so trivial!

Klopp knows it's his team that does the real talking, it's results he'll be judged on, not his mnf performances, as brilliant as it was.

You'd never of had Bill or Bob doing stuff like that.
Too much handed out to the lesser mortals these days.

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I do hear though they were both bloody useless at operating touch screens so it would have been out of the question.

You can add the likes of Murphy, Owen, and McManaman to that list too. Not the legendary bit of course
