All sorts of things happen abroad, Bob.

I'd say that assuming a comparable situation (in other words taking into account overall standing as well as recent form, and our position last year) an overwhelming majority of clubs would not have sacked him.

We need to be consistent. The ideal is to play like we play at our best and which isn't happening at the moment.

My concern is that we have to be at our best to win. We rarely win ugly.

He needs to sit out a few players for a bit. That's the first change he should make. Moreno and Origi are the names which come to mind to come in for Milner and Firmino. Keep Wijnaldum and Lallanna in midfield and move Milner there if Henderson is not fit. That'll be a start and hopefully consistency will come back.
