It's not just the defence though it's his lack of tactical notice to put in a plan b. He's Brendan senior at the moment.

I was gonna say this season but for me as bad as the defence is the team actually is quite unbalanced....apart from Mane,Salah,Firmino and now Couthino it seem this team is entire team and the rest it's as if he doens't care about or know how to sort out...Midfield is also a problem...the reason i mentioned next season is alot of hope is being put on Keita but again the defence has to be put right....As it stands i don't think we will get Top 4 this season...

so to sort the shambles on a defence in our next 3 games we will prob have 3 different keepers rotate the full back`s at least twice and change the centre halves for all 3 games
Oh I say his vision there was lovely

Shambles isn't the word I'd use to describe the defence yesterday. We did okay and coped well with Burnley. I don't think the issue is with too much rotation at all. We need rotation, especially now when we're playing a lot of games in succession, especially if we want to keep the fluency going forward. When we lacked the depth to rotate last year, we had a drop in performance levels and we struggled during January and Feb.
          Are we winning?

I still think he will turn it around. I'm just concerned bordering on worried at the moment.

I'm not worried at all, but if I keep on reading the threads in here, I will probably get to that stage.

We'll be fine. It's still very early days. How many PL games we've played - 4? We played well yesterday. At times very well.

We finished 4th last season. It was deemed a successful one no?

We're playing better this year and the addition of Salah has given real depth and quality. Players like Coutinho and Sturridge will get better with games if they can stay fit.

We still have the same issues of concentration and making mistakes though and strangely, if we make one during a game, we normally pay for that. We made one yesterday and we conceded.

We need to be patient. Klopp is a great manager and if we don't give him time to sort it out I don't know who will.

Totally agree, and the longer it goes on the faith in Klopp gets chipped away a little every match. I don't want him gone either, but he has to address this. Its not even one or two defenders, its our entire back 4 and keeper that are a calamity.

All defenders make mistakes, but it is the regularity and consistency of ours that is costing us. This is then translating, into every game, and if we haven't scored 2 or 3, once the opposition put just a little pressure on us, we look like conceding.

Our defence just don't look well drilled. I'd love to see exactly what drills are being done during training. Most teams in the league, defensively are well drilled, not withstanding the general ability of the defenders. We are poor in pretty much every area of defending, including just general decision making when to push forward, or when to hold.

We just don't take control when we get one or two goals up and kill a game off. The longer this goes on, the more the rumblings at Klopp will continue.

we got 4th by 1 point.... whats changed when you said We played well yesterday? And were again struggling to break down it seems the smaller teams...Also How has he addressed the defensive issues during his 2 seasons as Manager? Klopp is at the moment not able to address the defensive issues....I'm not say Klopp out but he's sure as hell making it as difficult as possible for himself.

                          Good luck promoting this philosophy

Other than City no team has really kicked on yet this season.

He'll manage us on a run of undefeated performances and all this will be forgotten for a bit.

We need to be more clinical at the other end....35 attempts and 1 goal is embarrassing.
