I do not think the man quits easy on anything tbh. My gut feeling is he will go into next season with a point to prove, and anyone that does not want to be along with him for the ride will be moved on or phased out.

That high wage bill has been built on performance related pay. At this rate the players will owe the club wages.

We won’t sack a manager like Klopp for one bad season. Especially when it’s coming on the back of a chronic injury crisis.

Plenty of kneejerkers will disagree with you and give the man no leeway.

The man just gave us number 6 and the Holy Grail, not accomplishments in the distant past like Wenger who lived off his title wins in the late 90's and early 2000's for almost 15 years but Klopp gave us both those in the last 2 years.
Can't think of another manager who could turn things around with the budget we have other than Klopp.

There is a lot of rewriting of history with Klopp and Dortmund. They parted ways "mutually" and Klopp has since said the club didn't have the desire for him to stay. Dortmund have since said they regret their decision and wished they backed him.

That isn't anything like jumping ship.

There is a lot of people throwing the boot right in then saying, "Not that i want him sacked". Considering nobody is saying it, there's an awful lot of talk about it. Strange really.

People always want to blame someone it seems and yeah some of his decisions have been questionable but there is no one in world football who would be a better man to take us forward.

I would consider replacing our entire first team and squad over asking Klopp to resign.

I think it's fair to say that where man city had a bad season, we were always going to do the same at some point. So that's this season.

But then throw into the mix the horrific injuries, our bad season becomes an awful one. And that's where we are. No more complicated than an off season compounded by injury.

If we are going miss the champions League spots, and we are, then the smart move would be to keep the squad fresh, give the champs league a whirl, though we will come up short, and then rest everyone for a while. Id rather we had no Europe next year than miserable Europa.

Haha. Not strange is it. We are ****ing ****e. Worst home run in our history. We've had injuries. Lots of them. That's why we had no chance of retaining our title. But these last few games are feeble. We can't even shoot properly. At pretty much any other top club in the world he would be sacked. But if you exclude twitter and Facebook I'm pretty sure most fans want him to succeed and prosper. That says alot about our fans. Every single one of us owes him for giving us what we desired. But if you keep losing and your players aren't responding to your commands, tactics, hugs whatever, you eventually have two choices either sack the manager or the team. What's more likely?

I'm not rewriting anything. I didn't say he jumped ship, but he did leave.

He announced resignation in his seventh year at Dortmund just as he had done with with Mainz after his seventh year. He's going into his seventh year with us next year.

Anyway, as has been said we can't afford to sack him, but if we look to history i'd bet he'd resign before he was sacked anyway.
