I stayed off here and social media during the game as I feared this result.

He looks lost but he is to blame as well - we look ****ing clueless and it’s him and ****ing intensity Ljinders who are sending the team out looking as disjointed as anything from the Rodgers era right now. We supposedly had money but he refused to buy anyone as he wanted his core group - could be bull**** but this is his biggest challenge since he came here

I love the guy but he deserves blame for this also

United and arsenal spent fortunes and they werent in the champions league. It’s time Fenway sports back klopp properly and build a second great team or call it a day.

He’s too good a manager to be ****ed about.

They are absolute chancers. They've got lucky with Klopp and Edwards being so brilliant.

Don't forget the amount of money they handed over to Kenny and Rodgers without a clue how to spend it, all loans or raised through transfers. They get a massive free pass from top reds because they aren't Hicks and Gillette.

His interviews are getting uncomfortable. Spikey and babbling.

I hope you are wrong about Fenway sports but I’m not sure that you are.

This is a genuine question, not a loaded one as I have no idea, but are all of our players still behind the manager? Do we have issues in the dressing room? We don’t necessarily look like a team full of players giving it everything to turn things around, but is that purely for other reasons?

How can the players be doubting Klopps methods?

We might have won a quadruple last year if not for the fatigue

I doubt Mo is happy with how he’s gone from Ballon d'Or contender to occasional good player and I doubt he blames himself for example. It’s human nature to look for an excuse and hold others responsible when things aren’t going your way, hopefully it’s not boiling over, but I guess it’s possible.

It's a shame he has to wait for favourable circumstances to show occasional good play; i.e. opposing players leaving him in lots of space and dropping clangers. I would have thought 'One Of, If Not The Best Player In The World' could impose himself on the game a tad more.

Don't know about babbling but he looks uncomfortable. Really harsh to blame Klopp. Must be so hard to do that job when you know 3 clubs are always in the driving seat.

Can parallels be drawn from his later time at Dortmund? Were 0layers burnt out and did the older ones recover their careers?

                          Might be a fair challenge.

                          Who knows.

Jurgen committed to the club not so long ago.... I wonder does he regret that now. Will see next summer i expect.

I think they will back him to build a new team to be honest. And that has possibly started with Konate, elliot, nunez, Carvalho...... I just don't think Jurgen would have bothered committing if he wasn't backed properly.

It was clear as day last summer that we needed to strengthen the squad particularly in midfield. What irks me is that it is easier to do that from a position of strength, if this carries on and we end up out of the champions league for a couple of seasons we are going to have to rely on developing players again.

Totally agree with you. City didnt really need a midfielder and tbey still spunked 50m on kalvin Phillips....

We don't know for sure that it was all on fsg though do we.

Any manager will spend money if its there to be spent. Its all on FSG.

                                End of August quotes...

"Let me say it like this, from time to time, I would like to risk a bit more - but I don't decide that," admitted Klopp at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon. "We have a great team and we will really try to squeeze everything out of this season."

Klopp added: "I am not careful, we get told what is possible and what isn't. That's it. In this range we try to work it.
