I think that is the only job he would take after his break,it gives him sometime to spend with his family while still being in the game afterall club footie is round the clock.

Listening to his interview about wanting to try a normal life. IMO we'll see him back in management in a few years, it's just in his blood.

I think he'll take a longer break than he did last time, but he'll get the itch soon enough. I guess it just depends what would appeal to him next.

There doesn't feel like much to love about football these days, so he and what he's helped Liverpool achieve is largely what's kept my own interest intact.

He nailed that press conference. He gets complete buy in from everyone listening, doesn't he. It's obviously been glaringly apparent for years, but it's so easy to see why people run through brick walls for him. Total authenticity, total honesty, and charisma by the bucketload. Massive respect for his honesty in how and why he's reached this decision. These last 8+ years have been the best in our adult lives as Reds. Wish him nothing but the best. I just hope we never have to face him/his team in a European competition.

For some reason I’m quite serene about all of this, I totally respect his decision and it’s so much better that he leaves with positive memories rather than being burnt out and the job breaking him. There were times last season where he apologized to the crowd after games and he looked shook.

I really hope the club goes back to the DoF/Sporting Director + manager model, Klopp earned the right to be the absolute no 1 but I’d prefer a brains trust to build for the future.

He's aged 15 years in the time he's been at the club. Look at his initial presser compared to post match on Wednesday. The job takes it's toll.

I’m sure I’m not the only one but he made me love football like I never have before. I started supporting at the end of the dominant period and was kid so didn’t understand it and appreciate it. But Klopp made everything fun and exciting.

Everything about his team and personality made me fall in love with football like never before. I will always be so grateful to have been able to see and appreciate his time with us.

The players will no doubt go out there every game from now till the end of the season and give it everything to send him out the way he deserves to go out and I hope the atmosphere at every game is ridiculous.

Going to be endless talk of him returning. He's too big to oversee a manager.

Klopp could quite easily be 'manager' but just be a figurehead/spokesman and let everyone else do the work.

It wouldn’t work - he’d be a distraction for the manager and if results went wrong then the fans would want him to step in. Clean break - cut the cord and go fully fresh
