I know quite a few people thought we were good pressing wise, but there were a number of times in the game when the Man Utd players looked quicker, eased past challenges and seemed fresher, even though they created bugger all (Martial aside). I expected a counter-attacking goal from them to be honest.Originally posted by Lecter View PostUnited are absolute ****e but after 10 minutes I knew they would sneak a win

We looked the better side still
United had a couple of runs at us second half but most of the time they just lumped it and we lapped that up
That said after about 25 minutes I said to the bloke next to me that United would sneak this because despite looking ****e they at least had players capable of putting away a chance if they got one
I am not too upset at the moment, it is what it is. Its going to take awhile to turn this around
The squad is severely lacking in terms of goalsBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Yep, this was never going to be a quick fix. The problems are a lot more deep rooted than just bringing in a new manager. I can't help but think the entire philosophy is wrong at Liverpool - it isn't going to work the way things are now. We have the best manager available to us in a generation, and he's struggling to get results too. Now more than ever, time is required!

Amen to that. The likes of caulker and long are not whats needed. We seem to have a lack of belief throughout, be it on the pitch or in the transfer market. I'm still amazed that we managed to bag Klopp.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostYep, this was never going to be a quick fix. your other post about klopp waiting until the summer to make his big purchases i think is bang on. I also think he's waiting for his mate michael zorc to help him buy these new lads.Originally posted by Lecter View PostI didnt think we pressed that well at all

I hope he can poach oliver bartlett back too then we're up and running.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]
