Just watching his PC right now.

He comes across incredibly well, the press seem to love him.

He has real intelligence, massive amounts of personality and charisma, massively rare qualities in football.

The only manager that approaches what he says with similar intelligence is Wenger. Klopp articulates himself so very well, and with real warmth and humour. Personality wise, he seems untouchable - Mourinho, I suppose approached his introduction in a similar way, but whereas Mourinho was all about hubris and ego, Klopp had these qualities, but with the essential ingredient - Humility.

I'm even more impressed now than I was before. It is going to be quite a journey.

Poor Sunderland fans. Have to watch Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool all day then get a tiny snippet that they are after Sam Allardyce at the end of the programme.

We moan but we could have it so much worse than we do!

The only thing that concerns me is the potential privacy invasion from the media in this country. He mentioned the photographs from the one visible side of his hotel room, asked them to stay away. If the media keep this Klopp fascination going, it could be a problem.

I liked his comment about if he hasn't won the league in 4 years "maybe Switzerland"!

          Hodgson will love that coment!

Translating Roberto Firmino’s potential into consistent performances will be much more important.
I think this does matter in Leadership. I actually think how he is respected and the way the footballing world responds to him will be important. He showed every characteristic you would want to see in a leader in that press conference/

The players will no doubt have all been watching, and surely are impressed. He is a guy you would want to work for, articulate and straight to the point. I imagine he will hopefully get better performances out of some players, and imagine that those that aren''t up for it will be jettisoned. Looks like there will be no place for passengers.

Klopp made a statement today for sure. And I think he did it by being honest and being himself, he underlined his values, and answered some issues that can be agonised about (particularly on here) with a refreshing clarity - particularly he was clear about the transfer committee which we have been using as potential reason for the club doing poorly.

            Exciting times

Now for him to have us play like Rammstein sound.
I was listening to Rammstein this morning before the Press Conference purely for this reason

"John, Tom and Michael are really cool guys. Ian was there too" I know it's not how he meant it and it was down to language but it was hilarious all the same.

Liverpool fans should fasten seatbelts - Dalglish

Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish says Reds fans should "fasten their seatbelts" with new manager Jurgen Klopp at the helm.

Overall, it's a big thumbs up from King Kenny for the new boss. "I'm sure they'll really enjoy him," he says. "I'm sure they'll take him to their heart. He came across very well this morning and I think that augers well for everybody."

And Dalglish adds: "He seems like someone who is not in love with himself."

Ooof! Brendan Rodgers felt that one from his Spanish sun lounger.
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

What an absolutely brilliant interview. I usually hate those ****ing LFC.tv interviews, such uncomfortable, cringey questions but he handled it so well. He has such a natural charm about him, just a genuinely nice bloke who just happens to be a fantastic manager. He gets what football is, it's just football plain and simple. I found myself smiling along whilst watching his interview, like a prize prick

I'm not expecting us to win the league or the likes this season but I can't see how any player would not want to bust a gut for him. Brendan always looked like he was trying so hard to be the Liverpool F.C. manager. He'd come out with some weird football jargon or some cryptic stuff, sometimes...well alot of the time it just felt like he was trying to hard. He changed his whole persona and look, maybe he always felt he was lucky to be there.

Then you look at Klopp, you can imagine him strolling into the dressing room with a pair of trackies, a cap and flip flops with a big silly smile on his face... not a bother to him. He's just an instantly likeable guy that IMO that the fans will absolutely adore.

I would have loved to see what he would have bought if he was installed in the summer. Not to worry, he's here now & has a real baptism of fire with the fixture list.

He does seem very comfortable in his own skin. A really impressive first day. I was excited by the prospect of him managing, and if anything like him even more already.
