I'm not sure we would cope with losing the ball in midfield to Chelsea which Mane does with his piss poor touch. I think I'd rather see Diaz, Jota and Salah for the final.

Piss poor touch? He was sloppy a few times and lost the ball in the first half, but he’s not got a poor touch, if not he won’t be playing in this team.

Sometimes I doubt some of you watch proper football games or play FIFA too often.

He played a slightly different role that usual last night, coming deep for the ball and moving players around, not the usual role he usually plays which helps Diaz come into the side.

He doesn’t have the touch of Bobby but he got two goals and we battered Leeds six nil (also got us going against Norwich).

I’m sure most other sides in the league would love a poor Sadio Manw in their side !

I thought Sadio was great, dropping deep and always being available, dragging a Leeds player out of position every time he did so. Nice that he popped up with 2 goals at the end, but even without the goals he offered enough to impress in that role.

He was absolutely ****e, his very first contribution to the game was underhitting a simple pass and putting us under pressure as the rest of the team had pushed up expecting him to execute the pass properly.

That proceeded to carry on the entire game until in a way only Mane can he pops up for two tap ins

I thought he did really well in a position that generally requires excellent close control (something we can all agree isn’t his strong suit). The claims that he played poorly seem to stem from underlying dislike of the player, rather than objective observation. Unfortunate.

I can't speak for others but I love the guy. He gave us some real quality way before Salah arrived and he kept it up for years.

That doesn't mean I can't give an accurate opinion of what my eyes are telling me. His touch is starting to get worrying as he ages which was bound to happen. Nothing lasts forever sadly.

He's still registering a great number of goals and assists. Klopp chooses to start him despite having great depth in his position. I think it's obvious how good he is. If people can't see it, that's their issue. I assume it's the same people who think Nat Phillips is better than Konate and Gomez. Inexplicable chip on their shoulder and want to get up in arms for no apparent reason.

100% agree with everything in this.. yes he’s declined but is still amazing.

He has scored more goals than anyone at any other club.. that’s without taking penalties/free kicks and after having been away for a month at the AFCON

That’s just a shower of **** mate . I’ve got no axe to grind with any of our players and all I said was he doesn’t have the vision or the touch to play there successfully in our team. Out wide where he’s got space is where he’s best suited IMO.
