Maybe Thiago only wants to go to Liverpool so he is staying at Bayern for a year and we have an agreement with Gini that he can go to Barca next summer if not happy?

I assume that if true it's Gini who has softened his position, supposedly the problem was always that he wanted 4 years but because of his age the club didn't want to offer more than 3. So to be honest I'm not sure that the two are related
