Thanks Gini, you've been fantastic. Don't really give a **** what happens to him now though

Will be hard to replace next season. It’s obvious Klopp didn’t want him to go, he obviously didn’t want to go. If it was wages then I can see it from both sides. Good luck to him, nothing but good memories of his time here.

I think the club could have made it work to be honest. Put it this way, if Gini was playing for another team then we'd have made it work to sign him on a free transfer. He could have had a signing on fee and a big performance related deal. It will cost more to replace him and that's not guaranteed to be successful.

That said, perhaps the data junkies at the club have it mapped out that Gini has 2 years left in his legs and he wanted a bigger deal. Maybe it was a genuine case of computer says no.

Mr Reliable. Such a step up from Joe Allen and Lucas. But ultimately, we move forward. We need midfielders that can break low block teams.

Such a lovely, lovely guy. He's leaving as a world class player. I'll miss him.

They all come and go but this one hits harder than most for me. The Barca night, his performances most of the time, the fact his arrival didn't just *coincide* with an upturn in fortunes but was a catalyst for it. And also because he's such a lovely, lovely man.

Yep. And that it feels premature. He’d prefer to stay, Klopp would keep him if he could, so would many of us fans.

An integral part of Klopp’s Liverpool, from the rebuild all the way through to the titles.

Don't understand this to be honest. Player wants to stay, manager wants him, fans want it. This is a direct first team decision which is being decided by FSG then?
