Easy thing to do as a player is to just not use social media. Its **** anyway, you know there's always going to be more dickhead fans than good ones, opp fans giving you **** non stop, over the top reactions to everything you do on there. Why bother.
Also, this is just an easy excuse. He left for money, there's no other reason you'd join PSG when you could go to any big Spanish, Italian, German or stay at a club competing for leagues and Champions league like we do. He got one last big fat pay day and some easy titles in France. Complete pussy move IMO, but so be it.
He was an excellent player for us, but he's gone down in my books for leaving like he did, and then trotting out i was used as a scapegoat on social media excuse."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

Players and their egos. Rich beyond belief and mentally fragile as a pane of glass thrown into a skip.
Great servant. Now just enjoy the money Gini and the gentile Parisan lifestyle.Last edited by BobTheCharmer; 25-07-21, 07:49 AM.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

Would you mind posting it please? Couldn't access it and would like to actually read it properly before jumping on the bandwagon.Originally posted by Pepe79 View PostThe tweet is bollocks. He talks about the rubbish he got on social media, clearly it affected him, but he doesn’t say it was the ‘main reason’ at all.

Fair play to him, more footballers should call 'fans' out on their ****.
I used to hate hearing on here people justifying their crap by say 'as if he's going to be on Est and care what I say', but hate festers and grows and doesn't take long before there is a bandwagon. Actions have consequences.
I was totally sickened with the treatment a 17 Sterling got at Anfield in a game he played well and there is no way dickheads in the stadium would have behaved like that without the support of an Internet campaign. Of course when he left it was also about the money and the self righteous fans did no wrong.
And it's almost funny that some of the people outraged by his comments (not on here, but hardly a ringing endorsement either) , then go on to prove his exact point with their response. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He was undervalued financially by the club and undervalued in the most by a large section of the fanbase, so why should he stay? I don't think he's upset that one or two people said he had a bad game.Originally posted by fabinho View PostIt's a reflection of the society we live in today where people seem to think we can live in a Utopia where nobody ever says anything nasty or hurtful. Good luck finding that Gini, don't hold your breath though. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I disagree with most of that. He was a great player for us and one of the first names on the team sheet for 99% of the fanbaze I think.Originally posted by RedReet View PostHe was undervalued financially by the club and undervalued in the most by a large section of the fanbase, so why should he stay? Paid handsomely by the club too.Glass half empty club

Yes, but that will cost them money and free **** because they won't advertise things.Originally posted by Harv View PostEasy thing to do as a player is to just not use social media.
These reasons are utter bollocks anyway. He wanted a big pay day and took it, end off. The social media abuse is universal in football, everyone gets hammered.
