There is no way Keita will leave IMO.

Having chased him for 2 years, decided he was worth waiting a further year on, I can't see the club cutting their losses after less than 12 months.

Similarly, Keita had his pick of clubs, but he chose us despite the fact we weren't in the CL at the time and had no guarantee we'd be there when he signed. We are now genuinely one of the top teams in Europe. Likewise he also had to sacrifice a year for the deal to go through, so surely he's going to put up more of a fight to try and establish himself now.

Also, I believe Klopp when he says that there will be no major signings this summer, but if Keita went, we'd have to spend big on a replacement.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I don’t see any reason at all why we would let Keita go as per above.

He will be.a year wiser have had a year to settle. If he isn’t to play much more of a part this season then we will see the best of him next.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

There would have to be some sort of major disconnect between Naby & Klopp for him to be going anywhere next season and there really isn't any evidence to suggest this is the case. And by evidence I don't mean what a couple of numb nuts on twitter claim to know.

There was a lot more space to work in so Keita flourished. In the cut and thrust of the PL, I'm not so sure.

Maybe if he bulks up a bit and learns some tricks from Wijnaldum and Salah on retaining the ball!

There was a lot of time and space in the that midfield alright but Porto are still a good side. Even though both were deflections, still good for his confidence that he has got on the scoresheet... almost relief on his face.

There wasn't any space in the areas he likes to work in, they totally crowded the D

That mazey run in the 2nd half was what we saw from him in the Bundesliga.

His acceleration with the ball at his feet during that mazy run near the end was a sight to behold. It's strange as he doesn't seem that quick without the ball.

Goals from midfield could be huge during this run in and Keita's confidence should be high after goals in consecutive games.

Was a really nice through ball to Bobby as well. He is showing what he's capable of.

Milly gave him a ‘hi 5’ of sorts in the 2nd half which was a nice gesture to encourage him when he was working hard in defence. Little things like that go a long way to help a new player feel accepted & helps lift their confidence.

He has started to look confident and therefor part of the team in the last two games. I think he is showing glimpses of what he will be for us.

Form is temporary, this guy has class. He's going to be quite the weopen next year, if not for the rest of the run in.
