Would say that he is far quicker than any of our current CM option, and by that I mean in acceleration and flat out sprint speed.
He is not as fast as say Mane, but still fast enough to be considered a pretty speedy player.
What is more important that his pace though is his control and balance when using that pace, and his ability to pick an attacking pass when in full flight.
If we get the balance right around him in the centre, then he is going to cause chaos for other teams when we are attacking, and he is a damn good player to have when it comes to tracking back and intercepting play too.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Absolutely Jaco, its not so much raw top speed that's useful for a CM like that anyway, he seems to have much more explosiveness about his movement, the ability to change pace and surge past someone or turn & change direction quickly while retaining control of the ball.
On form I really like Henderson, Can & Gini but none of them have that same speed of movement.I could not dig, I dared not rob:

Highly doubt we have any chance of getting him in January. Even if they are out of the CL they may want him to play in the Europa League should they finish 3rd in their group.
Not forgetting that they may have a league challenge going on or at least fighting for CL places.

The only time in recent years that a player was brought to a club early that I can remember of was Holtby to Spurs in January for something like an extra £3m.
Even if Keita is coming to us in the summer it would be terrible PR from Leipzig to allow him to leave in January - they'd be giving the impression that their season has nothing left to play for with over four months of football left to play.Comment
