Someone saying they thought we were getting a world class player isn’t the same as as there being a commonly held consensus that he actually was world class though. It’s actually saying the opposite.

Why don’t you quote some of these posts that actively claimed him to be world class?

You said there’s loads of evidence on this thread supporting this notion that he was regarded as world class. I said I searched that term and there was nothing of the sort. Because I did and there isn’t.

You quote one flimsy post that doesn’t back up your claim, despite there apparently being ‘many’.
