Can't we put our foot down and say he isn't going? He's supposed to be out injured for a while and the punishment for the club for refusing to release him is that he can't play for a couple of weeks, so what? if he's injured he won't be playing in that time anyway.

Makes you wonder, although it wouldn’t be the 1st time that Guinea called up Keita despite him being injured.

Am I losing it here? I can't see his name on that list?
Sorry, edit to say you have to click the image to see it!

This may need explaining to us during an injury crisis.

I dont feel sorry for the prick. His leg could be falling off and he'd still tog out for Guinea.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post****ing waste of space. Not his fault, and I feel a bit sorry for him, but we need to assume now we can't rely on him. Thiago is so good that I think we should make an exception for him, but we clearly need 2 midfielders.
We laugh our tits off at fred who cost less than Keita. He is a better signing because at least he is available ffs.
Shoot the cunt

I assumed Milner was going to be doing some coaching badges or something when he extended, not starting vs Utd.Originally posted by labourRed View PostWe have three midfielders at the end of their contracts at the end of the summer.
Ox, Milner and Keita.
We shouldn't be offering any a deal. I can see the premise of offering Keita a deal to protect his value but **** that, we could find ourselves paying for him to be crocked like we currently are.
But Ox is totally worthless to us, even in the rare moments that he is available to play. I presume he’s only here because he’s been injured during every transfer windows for he past three years.
Keita is probably the worst bit of transfer business under Klopp (Darwin tbc)
The Henderson (MBE) contract extension was ridiculous. Like Milner, he should be a bit part player, used less and less as he approached the end of his contract in 2023 and his huge wage increase should be paying the bills of his younger replacement. And he shouldn’t be playing enough to be captain still.
I think Klopp thought he could coast to the end of his contract with us without dealing with these things and leave the decisions to the next manager, but things have falllen off quicker than he expected. And now he’s staying for longer he’s a bit in the ****.
Anyway, about Keita, we need to accept that he’s leaving in the summer for nothing and buy his replacement now. An expensive option but not as expensive as finishing up in the uefa conference.Last edited by Kenneth; 23-08-22, 11:36 AM.

i know thatOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostTbf Ox didn't get a single minute after his appearance at Forest in like March or something. No way we won't buy a midfielder cos of him.
Its more the way he always mentions "Oxlade" like the guy is actually an option for us.

Wait until Klopp refuses to buy anyone because Ox is coming back and he loves Ox, he'll be like a new signing. So we make do with playing defenders in midfield until then.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostIf only we could have foreseen this midfield injury crisis - past injury is the best indication of future injury
We really do love to shoot ourselves in the foot
