    It's no coincidence that our form has improved since he returned to training, lifting the quality of the sessions. Once he's back on the pitch, we'll probably be unbeatable.

    So he's back in training, will need a bit of time to get match fit, we have 3weeks before the break for the WC, so optimistically he may make a sub appearance or two before then?

    I would have happily let him go in the summer but we needed a replacement, even with his injury record (assuming he hasn't fallen out with Klopp) I imagine that there will be times this season where we will need him because of the schedule and other players injury records as well as a relative lack of options
