Yeah but as already pointed out, we dropped almost as many points to teams outside the top 6 as we did to teams in the top 6. This was the same for Man City.Originally posted by danperkins View PostEm, yes and he can't lose or draw them either. Also, why didn't he feature & why does he average about 50% less games per season as everyone else in the last 4 seasons? Unavailable for half the games in your season for 4 seasons on the bounce is just another stick to beat him with too.
When you play the 3 other best sides in the league, there is a far greater chance of losing or dropping points than playing say the 3 worst teams, Norwich, Burnley, Watford .. in which he played every game apart from the Watford home game. So, if Naby played those games vs the 3 best sides in the league, chances are that win rate would be a lot lower. When you play at LFC, your win rate is always going to be high, when you play for LFC vs mostly poorer opposition, your win rate is always going to be high.
It's the dropped points against these lesser teams that we often look back on and think 'if only'.

With regards to the ‘toughest games’, we dropped almost as many points to Leicester, Brentford, Brighton and Westham (10) as we did to the rest of the top 6 (12).
Man City also dropped 11 points to teams outside the top 6, only dropping 10 points to teams in the top 6.

Naby can’t win games he doesn’t feature inOriginally posted by danperkins View PostThe reason we have a great win % when Naby plays is because we beat most teams we play & he doesn't usually start vs the best sides in which we have more of a chance of dropping points. We drew 6 games vs the other 3 top sides, here are Naby's mins vs the best teams in the premier league.
- City x2 games (0 mins)
- Chelsea x2 games (Played 21 mins)
- Spurs x2 games (Played 92 mins)
Even vs the best of the rest:
- Arsenal x2 games (0 mins)
- United x2 games (73 mins)
- West Ham x2 games (89 mins)
So in the 12 toughest games in the premier league, Naby has played just 275 mins

I can't believe he didn't do better in those games he wasn't involved in. Sell.
I mean we hardly ever lose, not sure this is a real stick to beat him with

In the league, we dropped points in 10 games in total, giving the team a 74% win percentage.
Of the 10 games we dropped points in, the only one Naby started was the 2-2 with Spurs. His midfield partners that day were Tyler Morton and James Milner.
The other 12 games where he started, we won all of them. Our win percentage jumps to 92% when Naby starts.
