I am struggling to understand his role in the team at the moment, is he a DM, CM or AM? I think he will be great in the long term because he is being coached by the very best out there so no concerns from me aside from the above.

He played as one of the 2 central midfielders in a 4-2-3-1 at RBL where he did a bit of everything. Our way of playing means we gave 3 in midfield and he won’t take the 6 role and the two 8s have to be disciplined and Cover our full backs without driving through the middle. He just seems to be struggling to adapt tactically right now and that is impacting his overall game.

He seems a bit timid also which I am surprised by as I watched a lot of him at RBL and he was able to look after himself. The Premier League is probably at an intensity he is not used to and it will take a bit of time. He is too good a player not to adapt so we just need to patient.

We are lucky that we are doing so well while effectively carrying a bunch of players. Wait til it clicks!!

Back injury to hamstring is a common path, so it's reasonably predictable. Although unsure when it's a spasm.

Anyway, Keita does seem to pick up a lot of niggles which is worrying.

luckely for us he has been playing **** recently anyway, so nothing a rest and rejig won't sort.
