Emre Can's wage and release clause demands seem a bit daft now. Remember him?

I think as much as anything the timing of picking up the injury when he did interrupted the flow of his settling in period & as a consequence effected his confidence.

I thought he was excellent today. However he rather worryingly ran out of steam completely at about the 60 minute mark.

Yup me too, has a fabulous first touch. Apart from the double meg he kept things simple quick snappy passes. Two good displays back to back, same with Fab. Both still getting full match fitness too.

the both of us were worried I think we’ll see the real Naby for the second half of the season now that he is getting into the speed of the Premier League.

hopefully nev, what a boost that could give us if he kicks in.

Yeah definitely. Although in fairness I'd guess most people weren't particularly bothered about him going.

What I like about him is that he always looks to go forward. Whether thats passing it forward or carrying it

We've definitely missed Chamberlain doing that this season and in the last few games Keita has definitely started to look like that type of player

It feels like Fabinho is similar, wanting to go forward as much as possible, differently to Naby maybe more with the passing. And yeah we’ve missed the ox driving through midefield this season.

I think he just needs a goal
