It's weird, when I was looking at our bench for players who could come on and make an impact last night.. I didn't even consider Keita.

I hope he starts in CM against Wolves, if the player we all think is in there.. we need to see it sooner rather than later. We spent 50 off million on him and even though he hasn't hit the ground running it would be nice to get some sort of contribution from him. Still have high hopes but a disappointing signing if early days.

Would love to see him start in his natural position in the next game and see how he goes.

Yeah, he has to start against Wolves.

Considering the hype and the long chase, he hasn't come anywhere close to looking like the player we thought we were getting. Also, I always get nervous when players get soft injuries as well. I think the move is too big for him but a goal or a few good performances and maybe he can turn the corner cause our midfield could do with his style of play.

...plenty of fans of other clubs around me at work rate Keita highly and would take him in a heartbeat. Confident Keita will come good, he's still not had a decent run in the side...

He has looked a bit timid & slow for us which really is polar opposite to the way he looked at Leipzig. I know the tempo of the prem is way quicker than Bundas and it's alot more physical so that maybe he is struggling to adjust. Injuries and lack of game time make it hard to judge but as you said he had a long hard chase on this and to say that he hasn't hit the ground running is an understatement. I do think though that we spent all this money on him, the trio of Milly/Hendo/Gini does not work... why not give him a chance central? Unless Klopp just feels like he can't fit him in there or in to the system? I get bedding players in but when you pay £50 odd million quid you do expect him to be a starter in your 11. The thing is though we are top of the league and haven't even needed him this season.

He'll come good, one day it will just click for Keita and he'll start tearing teams apart. It's coming soon I reckon.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Players adjustment at different times. Son was **** for Spurs for an entire season for instance.

Klopp history of integrating players is to retrain them in his way of training and playing too. So hopefully that will be the case here too.

A bit worrying that he can't speak English though. He knew he was coming here for a full 12 months

Didn't Klopp say he wasn't happy with his lack of English at start of season?

Think of how long Tevez played in England. Mascherano was translating for him in interviews when Argentina played, and they were talking to English speaking journos.

I think the little knocks have done him no favours, neither has Gini's form or us playing 4231 a lot.

Bit odd he hasn't got a single minute in the last 3 though

He played as one of the ‘2’ pivots in a 4-2-3-1 for both RBL and RBS - formation is what he knows best. Injuries have really hampered him.

I don't think Klopp would have 2 new starters in there at this stage tbh
