I'm not a huge fan of football stats but his don't say much. Averaging about I shot on goal and one foul per league game, no goals, no assists.

I recall him having a barnstormer against Burnley, bossing spurs and a few solid cameos but struggling to think of 5 other good or better games. At £53m it's understandable that people had high expectations, especially as CM was a weak postion for us, especially with Can going, but he's been outshined by supposedly more 'pedestrian' players, particularly Gini. He'll improve but it will take a big improvement for him to starting looking like the player we thought we were getting. Everything crossed that he does.

It's early days for him but he's been ordinary so far and worryingly I thought he was hiding a bit last night.

OH Naby, where have you gone?
I'm not sure he's doing things too much differently, he's just not getting as much time on the ball and is coming up against a better quality of opponent. My worry is that he can't step up to the levels of the PL, that it might just not suit him

Has he played and shone in an international tournament?

He needs time. His talent is obvious.
          Are we winning?

Naby will be fine. Be nice if we got behind him rather than write him off after a handful of games.

My point exactly. It's easy to be disappointed, we all want Bundesliga Naby but for some players, this is a huge step up but I'm sure he'll come good.

I don't think that you can judge a player coming into this league until they have has a season to play and settle in. He has shown some good and some bad moments, he's had a couple of injuries and there are some language problems. Give him time
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

seriously, there is a player there. sometimes it takes time to adapt to a new lg, new home, new language, new teammates, new workplace etc. Next time your giving him a hard time, think how you would handle ehhh **** it ... doing what you do, in Turkey next week, whilst learning Turkish, with new co-workers, flat, language classes etc and then do it all under the 24-hour gaze of media and fans analyzing to death your every move. Sounds awesome doesn't it. You would most likely come across as about as useful as a ****ing chocolate teapot

I like him a lot. The last time I saw a player with this much obvious talent was Luis Suarez , I think we will see a lot more from him in the 2nd half of the season.

It's probably easier for an attacker to make an immediate impact but for a midfielder, communication is key and they have to consider the movement of the entire team.

I don't think one single person has 'wrote him off" & very much doubt anyone is not behind him

So we've 5 games in the next six weeks and probably a winter camp in there somewhere. That will allow Klopp to spend some time with him and teach him some patterns we use etc. Then hopefully we start getting some meaningful contributions in this last half of the season.

I've got zero worries about this lad. He needs games though and he's struggling to get into that midfield at the moment as it's working so well.

Looking up and passing would be a good start

He needs to go back to basics, get the ball and quick pass on... keep the ball moving quickly. He's too casual when receiving and too slow laying ball off. Quick, snappy passes, show for the ball more and then take it from there.
