I agree with most of what you said. I used to have the use of a season ticket (fella who was working abroad that didn't want to give it up) a few years ago and the old fellas around me in the main stand used to give Henderson an awful time altogether. This is the end of the Brendan era / start of the Klopp era. Even then though, i used to think that I'd not seen a player talk as much on a football pitch since Roy Keane. He literally was ****in everywhere talking players through. The guy was like the ****in duracell bunny - kept talking / shouting. I think Jurgen has pushed him to more and more of that on to another level.

I think Henderson is a brilliant captain - in that he gets the extra 2-3% out of some of the players around him. I think Virgil does something similar.

The one thing I would think Hendo is not great at is his shooting. In his position, in such a good team, he should be looking for 10 goals a season really.

Well that narrows it down to being any one of 1,904,806 people then

I think his shooting is decent. 10 goals is a big ask for someone who frequently plays a holding role. A younger Henderson playing box to box all season, maybe.

...Hendo with a **** finish against Barca last season, good job Div was there to finish it off properly. Lost if from that point onwards, been a liability and proper sicknote since... wouldn't play him in a Sunday League side now...

...nah, he's been ****ing immense for us since Gerrard retired. Even as CB he was reading the game well which made up for his lack of experience playing there. He'll be a big miss and we need to start thinking of replacements for him and Gini longer term.

To me the big plus that Hendo brings is rhythm. He gives us it in a way that no one else can quite manage, apart from maybe Thiago. It's such an intangible thing though, it sounds dumb when you say it I feel more relaxed watching us when he plays though..it's as if we have more of a unified plan on the pitch. He's the rug that really ties the room together

Phillips is a freebie who is filling a gap much better than he should be and a worthy 4th CB at worse.

If we gave him as much time as henderson got then he could turn into a worldie.
He couldn't. He's filled a gap with the injuries we've had but he's not the answer for us and his positioning at times is absolutely woeful.

Good on him for stepping up in a time of real crisis but we should be looking to improve on him

Did I pee on your rug? Did I urinate on your rug? So every time I, just want to understand this, sir, every time a rug is micturated upon in this fair city, I have to compensate ?

Look at Naby's injury history since joining us, it's absolutely ridiculous. IMO he should be loaned out and hope fully he has a good season elsewhere and we can try recoup some value back. He clearly can't hack the rigors of playing in a Klopp side in premier league, not only the physicality but the pace. We cannot keep hanging on to these types of players... just incase. We need a squad brimming with quality but they have to be available. Forgetting the injuries I haven't been impressed with him, nice footballer alright but just too slow & light weight to succeed in this league imo. Whether or not that would have changed if he had not have been injured every 5 seconds is debatable but yeah it certainly didn't do him or us any favours.

Maybe it was Vagina and was a spelling mistake.

It's such a shame but he's been a proper flop.
