What a shame, been a dream season for him until now. He must be absolutely devastated.

Cant afford an injury anywhere now really, at least we are only playing Geoff Cameron, Charlie Adam and Ryan Shawcross next. *gulp*

                  Nice statement that.

No mention of surgery gives me some hope.

Any news on which ligament he’s done? ACL worst case (9 months), other ones a much shorter recovery.

Bad deal for him and the team. I'm sure he'll be back just as strong. But I do expect the competition for a first team place will be a bit stiffer next season. Yes his comments show he is a top lad, but don't think he needed to prove that.
                            Really?

not sure if it got shown on tv, but he was down for a while and then tried to get up to stand on it, and the medical teams tried to stop him but he instantly buckled and looked to do more damage

desperate to shake it, horrible for him

Yeah they showed that - poor lad, hope he makes a speedy recovery.
