    It's a weird trend, particularly in recent seasons. Having plenty of great players but having everything run through Messi so he needs to assist/score almost every single goal. Whilst their squad is ageing, there's plenty left in there and still have better players than almost any other team in the world.

    Not sure about that, Griezmann has made 48 appearances and 41 starts this season. That's a fair amount of football.

    I had the same thought. I can’t believe Coutinho isn’t playing for them. It’s been a shambles how they’ve managed him. Griezmann is another case, loads of talent but hardly plays and was bought for a fortune.

    Bump, can't help but think back to jurgens words; stay & they will build a statue.

    He must be gutted to have missed out on this, as without a doubt Klopp would have made him an absolute superstar.
