Interesting to see where Fabinho plays. I'm guessing DM. Lots of people on the site said we didn't need one, but I think he'd be perfect in front of our two CBs. All ball players, comfortable on the ball - a kind of split three i.e. cb dm cb, allowing our FBs more confidence to push up and our attacking midfielders to support the front three. A DM also helps us control games more (ie in midfield - something we've been lacking since Alonso/Mascherano).

A DCM was almost my preferred signing before the CL final. we just need a GK, an 8 and some back up to the front three now.

Sorry - to clear it up I meant he didn't get in the squad when we signed him.

He was is in the Copa squad for 2015 when we signed him. He played up front for Brazil and looked pish.

With regards to Fabinho its an interesting move because it seems to me a change in tactic as Fabinho looks more like a disciplined holding player than a guy who presses all over the pitch

TBF with our front 3 all forward, Keita & mebbe Fekir plus the fullbacks, not to mention possibly Alisson playing centre forward, Virgil & Lovren are gonna need some company back there.

The guy will have a big engine on him - having played as an attacking fullback. So I wouldn't be surprised if Klopp asks him operate more like Gini.
