Lovren did a half arsed challenge, instead of playing the ball he kind of bumped shoulders with the guy and sent him spinning slightly so he clattered into fabinho.
At first it looked like a knee getting bent slightly sideways, but now it seems the ankle got twisted as he fell.

Matip still isn’t training. In his press conference the other day, Klopp described both Matip and Fabinho as ‘long term’ injuries.

I must have missed that, I thought he was supposed to be out for about 6 weeks and it's been a month or so, was hoping he would be back soon.

I think he was expected to be back by now.

Klopp also said he is going to have another scan and be reassessed. Either it’s worse than they thought or he just hasn’t recovered as quickly as expected.
