Great player. The signings of Fabinho, Virgil and Allison brought us up 2 levels as a team and we really flew from there.

Paisley had a saying about letting players lose their legs at other teams though and i think this might be the case with fabinho and Henderson though. A couple of years ago, Fabinho would have walked into any team in Europe (and Henderson into +80% of them) but not any longer.

I wish Henderson and Fabinho well. But these farewell messages and videos do make me chuckle a bit. Full of (maybe implied) regretful sentiments, “sorry to go” kind of rhetoric etc. And it just makes me think, if you’re that sad to go, then just don’t go, right?

I get the money thing of course. So just own that and say so. The whole “I’m so sorry I’m leaving” thing feels so disingenuous.
