Klopp said that he was feeling his calves early on on spent all of half time being massaged by the physio

This guy is a good player, we saw that in the games against us. He came on in a very difficult environment and kept it simple and worked hard which was the minimum he could do.

He will get better by understanding how we play. Fab, Ox, Robbo.....etc etc - you need to learn how we play and Minamino will be no different. Look how good we are - we are this good due to our excellent players having multiple systems.....hard to walk straight in and click straight away

Just moved to a new league and country, not played due to German winter break, calf problems after 10 minutes.

Plenty of time for him to rip defences new arseholes.

I bet the pace and aggression in that game was well above what he has been used to and a real baptism of fire for the poor little fella.
He is a quality player and he will soon adapt.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Klopp made a comment about Minamino feeling the game in his calves and having to be on the treatment table at half time

I was thinking it might have been cramp due to the pace of the game

Klopp got it wrong throwing him so early imo and should have looked to Origi, it completely messed up the rest of the team, not the lads fault of course.

I think giving him 20 minutes at the end when we are winning to feel his way is required for the next few weeks

Thanks lads. I’m guessing the calf muscle situation could explain any supposed lack of pace that was mentioned. I’m pleased he got some game time as it’ll keep him hungry for more.

Mo could have slipped him the ball for a shot on target with his left peg but decided to go alone instead. There’s a shock hey
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I want to dig into him now, before he gets good.

Not sure about his pace, but I did wonder whether the pace of the game not suiting him.

Not that it was too quick, the opposite. We seemed quite pedestrian at times and I sensed there needed to be a bit more zip to make the most of the runs he wanted to make.

I thought he did well. He seems switched on tactically which is crucial in our team. You could tell he wasn't fully confident on the ball yet, but that will come with time.

A goal against Shrewsbury, or at least a good performance, would really help him.

He is switched on to what we are, pace wont be an issue; didn't hurt Coutinho & doesn't hurt Firmy
