Clearly he's going to start out as backup to the regular front three, so he needs to show that them can challenge them. I see his role in the short term (most of this season) as being backup or cover for Mane and Salah in particular, developing and getting closer to the level of the others. If we do go with a 4231 as some have been suggesting he might be more involved.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think all the elements are there for Klopp to turn in to an outstanding player, just like he did with salah and mane.

Fans were similarly underwhelmed with mane and salah.

But with his dribbling ability and control, I think he will link up very well with the front three, especially mane and firmino.

His numbers are really good if you consider his age. Most importantly he hasn't been very injury prone so far in his career.

I read it's about 30mil outlay considering hoever and given the terms it makes sense it is a bit more expensive than a few mostly paid upfront.

Then again, we did think Salah was back up for Mane
Who thought Salah was coming as back-up to Mane? He was doing really well for Roma, and had pace, while we only had Mane on the pitch with speed.

Yup, there's also a bit of an edge to him, not like Suarez, thankfully.

I distinctly remember Steve Nicol saying he didn't understand it as a signing as he didn't think Salah would be able to get in the team

Lot's of people wrote Mo off as a premierleague flop due to his time at chelsea

You could see that salah had something special even when he was at basel.

This is a decent read on Jotas potential - not much point just pasting the text as there are a lot of graphics
