                It went to a VAR review which seemed to take ages, I know they changed the accidental handball ruling a few times recently and I was starting to think they might have found some weird loophole to rule it out.

                    Disallowing a goal because it hit the defender's hand would be a heck of loophole!

                    I think it took so long because they were checking if it was Jota's hand or the defender's.

                                                Of course, but is anyone realistically expecting a better prognosis than 2 months based on what we saw yesterday?

                                                A non serious injury in the long term is probably the best case under the circumstances.
