Think he may be trying to manage himself better after the types of impact injuries he's had.
So he's not picked up any more (yet) but he's lost his edge alright.

Played **** scored a great goal. He has always been streaky so will probably score in the next 5. Delighted he got that goal. He didn't go on a scoring run. That goal against Everton was it. He has zero pace. Doesn't affect a game or link up play. Offers less goal threat than nunez. How does he get such an easy ride off commentators and fans?
The injuries have done for him. Plus our new style of play doesn't suit him or nunez. They have the least touches per game than anyone bar the ref.

I agree. He's been a quality player for us but the evidence of this season is that he's done. Only 28 but he's been in a constant cycle of injury and recovery for years and what's left can't compete in the intensity of the Premier League.
