Had an absolute nightmare since coming back from this latest injury. Looks so lethargic and stiff.

I'm not sure why slot keeps picking him. He offers less than nunez. I fear he's finished at this level.

Think he may be trying to manage himself better after the types of impact injuries he's had.

So he's not picked up any more (yet) but he's lost his edge alright.

But he's got to go anyway.

****ing hell talk about a bloke needing a goal. If he can start finding form again and we don't have to rely on Salah for goals, that's huge.

he is streaky, so here's hoping it the start of a 9 game run of goals

Let's hope he goes on a scoring run.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Slot has shown faith in him when most of us on here called for him to be benched so here’s hoping he proves us wrong.

Played **** scored a great goal. He has always been streaky so will probably score in the next 5. Delighted he got that goal. Long term for me he has no pace to be a threat but this season he'll carry us home to number 20.

Come in Mr Jota, your time is up.

He didn't go on a scoring run. That goal against Everton was it. He has zero pace. Doesn't affect a game or link up play. Offers less goal threat than nunez. How does he get such an easy ride off commentators and fans?

The injuries have done for him. Plus our new style of play doesn't suit him or nunez. They have the least touches per game than anyone bar the ref.

If we're trying to retain titles and challenge in Europe especially, we need raw speed.

Think the one thing those PSG games really showed us is how slow most of our players are. Our lot looked like they were running backwards at times

I agree. He's been a quality player for us but the evidence of this season is that he's done. Only 28 but he's been in a constant cycle of injury and recovery for years and what's left can't compete in the intensity of the Premier League. He should go and do well in Portugal for a few years.

I’d be ok with us replacing Jota,Nunez,Elliot and Chiesa. Diaz too if he doesn’t extend his contract.
